AUDITIONS for Jane Martin's "Talking With"

Theater Under the Stairs announces auditions for Jane Martin's play in monologues, Talking With, on the Cotuit Center for the Arts Black Box stage. Directed by TUTS co-founder, Holly Erin McCarthy.

AUDITION DATE: September 16, 2012. 6-9PM
PRODUCTION DATES: December 5-16, 2012. 
Wednesdays at 7pm

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 8pm
Sundays at 2pm

Funny, frightening and frank...this show includes the stories of a God-fearing baton twirler, an actress at the end of her rope, and a bored housewife with a not-so-boring secret.

1982 Winner of the American Theatre Critics Association Award for Best Regional Play.

We are looking for very strong actresses, each up to the challenge of carrying a "mini" show on their own.

Specifically, we need 7-10 women, ages 16-100 to perform these entertaining and engaging monologues.

Rehearsal time commitment for this production will be comparatively minimal and a lot of emphasis will be put on the actresses' individual commitment to, and discovery/development of, these characters.

Each actor will receive a stipend.
